I chose the themes "Power" and "Change" and decided to link them to one of the most powerful movements out there; feminism. Feminism is all about achieving equal rights for all genders and changing the way that our society today is structured. I chose the shapes and images that I did because I wanted to emphasize the power that women have and that they retain that power even when they enjoy traditionally feminine things. The has been a stigma built up around hyper-femininity and all products or objects associated with it, I wanted to show that we are taking these things back and using them un-apologetically.

My vision for these images was to show someone who was trying to conceal their inner demons from everyone around them. Paige has taken on a new identity and image for herself in order to hide who she really is from the world. She creates this secret identity by covering up everything that represents or gives light to who she is or what she's feeling. She could be a secret agent on the job, or one on the run from the government she betrayed, trying to keep those close to her safe, or simply an everyday person who is afraid of the repercussions that would follow due to letting slip a piece of personal information.
